a pure mage with the aid of a magicka regen mod but i havent played morrowind in. The rewards for twinking a character are so fast and so imediate I've only pulled off playing the story once. The mage in there can fry just about anyone in two spells if you arent. The problem is that it's very difficult to avoid temptation and not twink out. However if you just play the game like any video game needing to be conqured it's horribley unbalanced. If you pick a character concept and create a mindset around him and don't detour from it the game actually plays out rather well with the story line. Morrowind is really about choice and how you play. The trainers can thus raise your skill one point higher than what is listed, with the exception of the Master Trainers, since no skill may be trained above 100. Pure thief is difficult at the start but in the middle are damn effective however at the end they also become less effective. The numbers on this page represent the highest value which your skill may be at in order to receive training. Pure mage is challenging basically until the end. For example Pure fighter is easiest at the start but as the game progressess their effectivness drops rapidly. However the difficulties for the different types switch around during certain level areas in the game. However even if it fails the fact you are probably doing around 100 damage from just the weapon negates the dissadvantage.īut yeah I guess going pure mage would be a pain in the ass, I think though going truly pure anything is difficult in that game.
